This past spring two men completed their distance learning studies through Berkshire Christian programs. In May, David Hill finished a program he began under the TEMPE (Theological Education and Ministry Preparation by Extension) program. David earned and was awarded a Certificate in Pastoral Studies for his accomplishment. David makes his home in Southboro, Massachusetts and has served the local church through pastoral and Christian Education ministry. He has also taught in Christian schools. In June, Gary Griffith, Jr. completed his studies through the eBerkshire program and was awarded the Pastoral Studies Certificate. Gary lives in Ferguson, North Carolina with his family and serves in his home church (Beaver Creek AC Church, Fergusson, NC) and at Blue Ridge Chapel (Blowing Rock, NC. He did his pastoral internship in Lenoir, NC under the leadership of Rev. Jim Lee. Berkshire President Glenn Rice attended a special service celebrating graduations on Sunday June 13th to award Gary’s certificate. This service was planned by Beaver Creek pastor, Rev. David Blythe and the church family.
